In heavy rain, a woman carrying a glowing vessel walks ahead of a man. A village lies beneath a volcano, and the woman and her escort stand before a seated man. Man: «Camina. Guarabo decidirá qué hacer contigo.» Caption: «La aldea del Sol. Al pie del volcán que nunca duerme.» Seated man: «Una mujer sola, en una canoa, con esta tormenta. O estás loca o te han enviado.» Woman: «Nadie me envió. Traigo lo que mi pueblo guardó por tres generaciones: la brasa de Boinayel.» Seated man: «Imposible... Boinayel murió con el rito roto.» Woman: «No murió. Lo olvidaron.»
