The specific features and functionality are described on our website.

4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

We may remove content or suspend accounts that breach it.
5. Payments & Subscriptions
If the Service includes paid features:
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
- Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually).
- You can cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us for refund requests.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
Inkroost Credits
- Inkroost Credits are prepaid platform credits for creator tools only — such as AI page and cover generation and other Inkroost services.
- Credits are not money, have no cash value, and cannot be transferred to another user or withdrawn or redeemed for cash.
- Credits are not used to purchase manga and are not paid to creators. Reading on Inkroost does not require credits.
- Some chapters may be supporter-only. Supporter access is provided through the creator's own third-party platform (for example, Patreon). Any subscription or payment for supporter access is between you and that third-party provider — not Inkroost — and access may depend on your status with that provider.
- Inkroost does not operate a marketplace for manga and does not pay creators a share of credit purchases.
- Credits you buy are valid for 6 months from purchase. Free credits last a shorter time: welcome credits for 7 days, and coupons, referral and feedback rewards for 3 months. Credits you already had on September 29, 2026 never expire.
- The credits that expire soonest are always used first, and your account shows how many credits expire and when.
- Credits returned for work that could not be completed keep the expiry date of the credits they came from.
- Expired credits are removed from your balance. Unused credits are not refunded when they expire.
Plans
- Plans (Light, Creator and Studio) are billed in advance every month, or every year where a yearly price is offered, until you cancel. Creator and Studio add credits to your balance at the start of every plan month, including on a yearly plan.
- Plan credits reset every month: what is left expires when the next month's credits arrive, and nothing carries over. Cancel any time; the plan runs to the end of the period you paid for.
- Plan credits are always used before any other credits. Credit packs can still be bought on top of a plan.
- Every plan includes continuity checks for up to 300 uploaded pages a month and exports without the Inkroost mark. Pages checked beyond that are charged at the usual price.
- You can cancel at any time under Manage plan. The plan runs to the end of the period you paid for; after that its credits expire, and continuity checks and watermark-free exports go back to their per-use prices. Cancelling does not refund the current period; refund requests are handled as described above.
- Upgrading starts a new billing period straight away, with a credit for the unused part of your current plan. Moving to a smaller plan takes effect at your next renewal.
- If a renewal payment fails, no new plan credits are added and the plan's features pause until the payment goes through.
- If a plan payment is refunded or disputed, the plan credits it paid for are taken back, from that month's unspent plan credits first.
Animated episodes
- You can ask us to turn chapters of your own series into animated episodes. Only make episodes of work you own or have the right to adapt.
- To make an episode we send the chosen chapter's pages and text to the AI providers that plan, draw, voice and animate it. They use them only to make that episode.
- You see the price in credits before anything is spent, and we never charge more than the price you approved. The plan-and-preview step is charged once it is delivered; steps that fail on our side, or that a provider refuses, are not charged.
- Episodes are made by AI, and we can't fully control how each scene comes out: a scene may not match your pages exactly, a character can look slightly different from shot to shot, and a scene a provider refuses is left out with its lines kept as narration. The approved price covers the episode as it comes out, at any length; longer episodes carry more of this, so check the plan and preview before you approve.
- Episodes are made with AI. Keep them labelled as AI-generated wherever you publish them.
- Inkroost staff can watch every episode, published or not, to check its quality, keep the Service safe and help you.
- You keep ownership of your series; the licence in section 6 covers making and showing your episodes.
Publishing to YouTube
- Publishing to YouTube uses YouTube API Services. By connecting your YouTube channel to Inkroost you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
- Inkroost uploads only the episodes you choose, with the title, description and audience you set, and never reads or changes anything else on your channel.
- You answer for what you publish on YouTube under YouTube's rules, including saying whether a video is made for kids. Inkroost marks every upload as altered or synthetic content.
- You can disconnect your channel at any time; videos already published stay on YouTube until you remove them there.
6. Intellectual Property
- The Service, including its design, code, and content, is owned by Inkroost.
- You retain ownership of any content you upload to the Service.
- By uploading content, you grant us a license to store, display, and process it as needed to provide the Service.

10. Termination
