A two-panel comic strip set in a dimly lit potting shed. A woman works at a wooden table by a window at night. In the first panel, she holds a trowel; in the second, she tips a terracotta pot to reveal tangled roots while translucent, empty ghostly gloves float nearby. Visible dialogue, in reading order: Fern: Water cannot replace a visitor. Fern: There you are. No way out.
