How the credits work

Free account required. No subscription. Welcome credits arrive after email verification, when available. Start with your first story page; buy credits for more artwork, or upload and publish your own pages free.

From an idea to your first chapter.

Start small. Keep what you love. Make the next page yours.

  1. 01 · PREPARE

    Give your story a home

Inky helps draft your series, characters, style and opening chapter. Text character sheets are editable; drawing reference images is optional and costs extra.

  2. 02 · CREATE

    Make your first artwork

Review the credit price, then confirm one page or cover. Keep it, refine it, or get more credits to continue. Already draw? Upload your own pages for free.

  3. 03 · SHARE

    Publish when you're ready

Finish your chapter and submit it for review. Publishing is free; new accounts wait 0 hours before their first review. People can follow along with each chapter.

What it costs. AI generation uses prepaid credits. 10 credits (about $0.30) a page; about 200 credits (about $5.99) for 20 pages. Every drawing shows its price before you confirm. See pricing.

Your work stays yours. Upload and publish comic, webtoon or manga pages. Keep your audience relationship, including supporter-only chapters through your own Patreon.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about reading and publishing comics, manhwa, webtoons, manga, and more.

Contact Support
What can I publish on Inkroost?

Inkroost supports comic books, graphic novels, manhwa, webtoons, manga, and other stories told in panels. Choose the style and format that suit your work.

What reading formats are supported?

Choose left-to-right pages, right-to-left pages, or vertical scrolling for each series. Colour and black-and-white artwork are both welcome.

Do I need to use AI to create a comic?

No. You can upload pages you draw yourself or use optional AI tools to help create them.

How do I read comics on Inkroost?

Browse or search for a series and open a chapter. Free chapters need no subscription. Sign in to save your reading progress across devices. Some creators also offer supporter-only chapters through their own platform, such as Patreon.

Who owns the work I publish on Inkroost?

You do. You keep ownership of the work you upload. You grant Inkroost a licence to store, display, and process it so we can publish it, but the work remains yours.

Can I publish my work elsewhere too?

Yes. You can share and publish your work on other platforms too. Inkroost does not require exclusive publishing rights.

How does Patreon monetization work?

You can publish chapters as free or supporter-only. Supporter access is provided through your own third-party platform, such as Patreon. Any subscription or payment is between your supporter and that platform, not Inkroost, so you keep your audience relationship and your income directly.

How do I publish my own comic on Inkroost?

Create a free account and start a series. Upload your own pages, or use Inkroost's optional AI tools to help create pages when you cannot draw. Then publish your chapters as free or supporter-only, and build your audience.
